Wallets

Wallets are used to hold cryptocurrency funds on the Wyre platform. White label wallets are spun up on demand via the Create Wallet endpoint. These are custodial wallets the are fully functional crypto addresses. Due to the custodial nature (custodied by Wyre), the private keys are always safe.

Wallets are able to hold cryptocurrency and fiat balances for Supported Currencies and support transfers and exchanges. Fiat and cryptocurrency wallets are available in supported geographies. Contact Wyre to get current information on supported geographies.

Wyre's partners can create wallets for their end users where they can hold assets and interact with their platforms. The functionality of the end users' wallets is defined by the partner.
